Marika M., student of the International Master in HR & Organization, told us about the key learning and how she made experience of RBS
I’ve chosen RBS since I fell in love with their international profile, the variety of courses and the specialization in such a demanding field like Human Resources. What I like about the course is that it goes deep into HR, with its very specialized formula and international professors with a long career in the field.
I’m very excited to be joining the French Red Cross in Paris for an internship in international HR. I already have experience in the humanitarian sector and I want to pursue a career in this field by acquiring competency in the HR domain. My dream would be to go on a mission abroad and discover how an international humanitarian organization works outside of Europe. I am very grateful to RBS since it gave me the chance join an international class made of people coming from all over the world.
I would say to my fellow colleagues to first set their goals and then work hard to reach them. It’s easier to follow a path rather than grope around. I’m very grateful for what I have achieved so far and to RBS.
Vinicious B., student of the Executive Master in Data Science, explains the great support got in gaining its job opportunity thanks to RBS, and provides great advises for his colleagues.
I am thankful to Rome Business School for providing me with the opportunity to partake in the selection process for Haier Europe within less than two months of my arrival in Rome. I am especially thankful to the RBS Staff of the Career Accelerator, for her support and encouragement. It was a sudden and challenging experience, but I am proud to have achieved the goal of securing a job as an international student. It is with great excitement that I now embark on this new path as an Operation Analyst. I am eager to see what the future holds.
What are the most important skills you acquired at RBS, which ones you will need to work on the most, and which ones to focus on that are essential in the world of work today?
It has been only three months that I am studying at RBS, and I already have developed important soft, hard, and professional skills through classes, hands-on activities, and company meetings. I think it is important for one to always be working on skills that one thinks might be important for their career and personal life despite the skill. Me, personally, I intend to keep improving on technical and personal skills such as proactivity, critical analysis, and communication.
Why did you decide to join RBS, what did the master’s program give you in terms of skills, competencies, meetings with companies, and experiences?
I decided to join Rome Business School because I was interested in the Master program in Data Science and knew that it would provide me with the skills and knowledge I needed to succeed in my career. I trust that the RBS’s Master is yet to deliver many more opportunities to develop my skills in data analysis, statistics, programming, and critical thinking.
What do you want to focus on in your work experience today, and what is your career goal?
I look forward to bringing my skills in data analysis, my knowledge of business management, and my passion for problem-solving to Haier Europe. I am enthusiastic to start contributing to the company and help them by giving my best. In the long term, my career goal is to become a data scientist to make a positive impact on processes, organizations, and communities.
