Students will acquire skills that can support their professional efforts toward fostering a culture of ethics and inclusion, through the development of conflict analysis and resolution skills, and the design and implementation of diversity and inclusion policies and programs.

Azzurra Rinaldi Co-Founder e CFO

Azzurra has a PhD in Economics. She started her career by becoming Professor in Economics at the University La Sapienza. She was also Contract Researcher at LUISS and Professor at 24ORE Business School. Currently she is Head of the School of Gender Economics at Unitelma Sapienza and Columnist at La Svolta, a newspaper that talks about the great changes underway, paying particular attention to the Environment, Rights, social, cultural and technological Innovation. Most importantly she is Co-Founder and CFO of Equonomics, which addresses companies and institutions, bringing its expertise, competence and methodology as support to create work environments in which all talents can flourish, without any discrimination. They provide services in a gender rebalancing perspective, with particular attention to the LGBTQIA+ community.

Peter Thurton
Peter Thurton Legal Counsel at Enbridge

Peter Thurton is a Canadian business law attorney. Peter’s expertise is in ethics and compliance. For over thirty years Peter has represented some of Canada’s largest financial institutions (including Manulife Financial, CIBC and Royal Bank Insurance) and energy companies, specifically Enbridge. In the past year and because of the issues concerning race in North America a great deal of Peter’s work has focused on issues of race and discrimination in the workplace. He holds a Law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School and from St. Francis Xavier University where he was a Rhodes Scholar Finalist.

Natasha Valentine is a Canadian Human Resources Generalist & Consultant with 20+ years of international experience from a variety of sectors.  The last three years have been in the academic sector, primarily with Rome Business School as a Program Director and Lecturer for the International Human Resources Master programme. Having a culturally-diverse mentality has helped her to understand and interact better with employees, students and professionals.​ Natasha has notable experience in recruitment, employment law compliance and career coaching. Natasha also participates as a Guest Speaker for local universities in Rome on subjects such as Sexual Harassment and Bias in the workforce.

Veronika Schmid Founder and Vicepresident

Veronika began her career as a consultant at IBM (Italy) and has worked in various sectors such as finance, energy, defense, and intergovernmental organizations. She founded her own human resources consulting service in the Middle East, focusing on personal skills.  A few years ago she moved to Washington D.C. where she graduated from Georgetown University's Leadership Coaching program and founded 2ndStep, which focuses on Leadership Coaching. For the past 15 years, Veronika has been intensely committed to her personal and professional development, using her vast experience to best serve her clients. She has lived and worked in 8 countries in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and North America.

Darya Majidi CEO and owner Daxo Group

Darya is an Iranian-Italian Entrepreneur, digital and human rights activist with 30 years of experience in Digital Transformation and AI. She started as a Professor, teaching Artificial Intelligence at the University of Pisa, Management and Healthcare at the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna. Meanwhile she was Founder and President of Synapsis Srl, a Software Development company, and President of the Young Entrepreneurs Group of Livorno for Confindustria. Subsequently she was Vice President of Confindustria Livorno Massa Carrara and Councilor for Economic Development and Innovation of the Municipality of Livorno. For 11 years she then worked at Dedalus Italia S.p.A., as Founder and President of Dcare and Healthcare 4.0 Senior Advisor. She currently holds various roles: she is the Founder, Owner and CEO of DaxoLab and Daxo Group, a strategic consulting and executive training company in Industry 4.0; Member of the Board of Movet and Member of the Advisory Board of Osservatori Digital Innovation Healthcare; Vice President of ARTES 4.0 - Competence Center; Founder and President of Donne 4.0, a no-profit social association; Speaker for Leo Speakers Bureau.​
