Konstantinos Piliounis

Konstantinos has a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Patras and a Master's degree in Food Science and Management from the University of London. With over 30 years of experience, he has developed a successful career in business management and health sciences.

Currently, he is Managing Director of PNValue, a consulting firm providing customized solutions in the life and health sciences sector, and Professor of Management at Rome Business School. His career began in 1987 as Vice President at Novo Nordisk, a multinational pharmaceutical company, where he held positions of increasing responsibility in several regions, including the Middle East, Africa, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Cyprus and Malta, consolidating a strong expertise in international strategic management.

Since 2019, Konstantinos has been chairman of the board of BluSense Diagnostics, a MedTech company that develops devices for rapid, point-of-care diagnostic tests for infectious diseases. In parallel with his work as a consultant and lecturer, he continues to contribute to progress in the health and life sciences sector, combining experience gained in the corporate world with technological innovation and new business challenges.

Claus Duedal Pedersen​ sundhed.dk - Director of Sentinel Unit

20 years' experience of operating and coordination of large scale national and international eHealth project. Former project manager at Odense University Hospital, during 1995-2000 he worked extensively with quality development, user surveys and evaluations at the Development Section at the county of Funen. Since March 2000 he worked as a consultant at the Danish Centre for Health Telematics, as administrator of projects within eHealth technologies in both regional national and international perspectives. Today he’s director of Sentinel Unit at Sundhed.dk, a comprehensive offer with information and digital services from the public health service. Danish Regions, the Ministry of Health and Prevention, the National Board of Health, regions, hospitals and municipalities use sundhed.dk in the service of citizens and health professionals.

He Started his career in Food Industry in R+D and later in Production. From 1987 till 2017, he worked in Novo Nordisk where he had several leadership positions like Head of Middle East & Africa, Head of Marketing and Business Development in International Operations. In 2017 he established PNValue, an investment and consulting company. Through PNValue he invests in startup companies with focus in eHealth. He was also Chairman of the Board at BluSense Diagnostics.

Biologist, PhD in Neuropharmacology with international academic research experience in pharmacology, drug development, organic chemistry and molecular biology. In 2014 he co-founded the Open BioMedical Initiative, a social impact nonprofit organization addressing disabilities through 3D printing, online collaborative design and community building. In 2017, he co-founded Softcare Studios, a digital health startup focused on improving the therapeutic experience for patients and optimizing hospital operations using immersive technologies and data tracking.

With a PhD in Statistics, Raffaele has 20 years of experience in Consulting and Data Science. He started as a Junior Consultant at SLIM (Statistical Learning and Information Management), and then worked as a Researcher and Trainer for the University of Naples Federico II. Subsequently he took on the role of Freelance Consultant and Trainer, working for KENOBI Srl, Ducati Motor Holding, the National Institute of Statistics (ISTAT), SIAE (for Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence), Visiant, Accenture Analytics (for Predictive Analytics). In the meantime, he was Pre-sales Engineer and Product Specialist for the KXEN division at Gruppo DaMan srl.

Manager specialized in the negotiation and management of Commercial Networks, with consolidated experience in the Air Transport and Industrial Construction sectors. Over the past 32 years he has been in managerial activities, including 19 years in Alitalia, managing negotiations in almost all European countries, in many Asian and South American countries, and in the USA. He currently follows SME Business Development projects in Europe and the US as Export Manager. He is Senior Partner of Ambire, and Temporary Export Manager for Internationalization.

He has worked in ICT for a long time, first holding specialized roles, and, from 1987 onward, that of manager of technical staff, working groups, and small, medium, and large projects. He is currently involved in professional training in the field of Project Management. He has a Master's Degree in Education with a focus on "Adult and Continuing Education Sciences." The candidate’s academic history, previous experiences in the topics covered in the Master and motivation will be matters of the evaluation. Once it’s sent, the application will be evaluated by the Rome Business School’s academic committee. In order to ensure the application’s suitability, it is important to deliver all of the required documentation.

Payment of the participation fee of € 8,900 can be made in the following ways:
