The Basics

Yes, all of our Master degrees are recognized by the European Framework of Education and for one academic year Rome Business School certifies the amount of learning hours equivalent to 60 ECTS credits.

The programmes are designed to deliver exactly the same objectives and contents, meaning it’s the same programme for both intakes.

All students admitted to Rome Business School are required to have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent. However, student profiles can be considered eligible for some of the programmes in case of relevant professional experience, but they will not be eligible to earn ECTS.

English Proficiency is required for all programs except the Executive Masters which are taught in Italian. With the exception of these students all students need to be fluent in English. If English is not their first language, they will need to prove their fluency during the selection interview unless:

  • their undergraduate degree (minimum two years) was conducted majorly in English, or
  • they have lived in an English-speaking country for at least two years.

Pre-Admissions

Each application received is reviewed in depth by the Pre-Admissions Committee. When selecting students, we put an emphasis on their future potential, strong academic ability, and personal qualities and characteristics.

Once the application has been submitted, the Admissions Team or Committee will be unable to accept application updates other than contact information updates.  If invited to the interview, applicants may inform the Admissions Team of updates at that time.

Once you submit your online application, you will be notified in 3 working-days. We will let you know if any documents are pending, or if we feel your profile is aligned to what we are looking for we will invite you to a Selection Interview.

International applicants who require a student visa, Type-D, should allocate enough time needed for processing their visa application and for securing the necessary funding. It is highly recommended that if you require a study visa, you should apply no later than 8-weeks prior to the start period of the programme. Applicants who do not require a study visa may apply up to 3-weeks before the programme start date.

If the Admissions Committee does not advance your application at any point in the selection process, you are eligible to apply again for the following intake period. Should this occur, you will only be eligible to reapply after the previous intake has closed. Due to the large number of applications we receive, we will not give specific feedback or reasons if you are not admitted to the program.

Upon completing the selection process, your offer of place will be valid for 2 intakes: the intake you apply to and the following. Please take into account meeting your Enrollment Process deadline before applying. It is highly recommended that in order to ensure a seat in your preferred intake, you should apply sooner, rather than later.

Selection Interview

If your initial application is passes the screening, you will be invited to participate in a Selection Interview. Usually, applicants can expect their CV evaluation to take 3 working days.

Your interview will last approximately 30 minutes and will be conducted by a member of the Office Admissions.  Interviews may take place in-person, via Skype, or via Phone call.

The purpose of the interview is to better understand you as a candidate for our programme. However, we encourage candidates to thoroughly study the program web page and be ready to demonstrate understanding of the program to which they have applied. There is no set list of questions that interviewers are required to ask and each interview will be unique.
