Eileen A., now Marketing Brand Manager at Matis Paris.

Eileen A., student of the International Online Master in Fashion Management, tells about professional growth, and her new challenges.

Hi, my name is Eileen and I have recently started a job as Marketing Brand Manager at Matis Paris. Thanks to RBS I see the professional world from a more complex yet creative angle which allows me to be innovative at work everyday. With my fresh perspective and my ability to adapt to fast-changing environments such as the cosmetic’s industry I contribute to the companies shift to a more digital approach. This said, I strive to excel in my current position and exceed the expectations of my managers.

Eleonora S., now Mkt Intern at Blue Girl (Liu-jo).

Eleonora S., student of the Global Master in Fashion and Luxury Management, explains her path, what she has learned and the importance of being yourself in the connections you make.

Tell about yourself, what your pre, during, and post master’s degree journey has brought you to where you are today.

Hi everyone, I’m Eleonora and I’m currently working as a Marketing Intern for Blumarine (Liu-Jo). my journey has been a little complicated since I didn’t know clearly what I wanted to do but I started working in the digital field for small businesses in my hometown and became more interested in art direction so I focused on that to develop further skills.

RBS made me connect with other people and this thing made me develop even more my critical listening. Also, organizing projects in school helped me being more “tidy” in my study/work flow and helped me having a clearer vision of my future objectives. Moreover, the school helped me connecting with companies and I got to know many HR (and generally people involved w/companies) that also helped me finding out more strengths and capabilities that I basically had but undervalued.

What do you want to focus on in your work experience today, and what is your career goal?

Right now I want to focus on learning everything I can by watching and listening actively my superiors. I want to learn more about art direction and about internal connections in the companies to be able in the future to manage things myself.

Give 3 pieces of advice to your fellow students to get like you a career opportunity.

Just be yourself and don’t focus only on your studies. Focus more on what the path gave you and show your attitude and who you really are. May sound like a standard thing but that’s the truth: people care a  lot about you showing your truest part of yourself, more than your hard skills.
