Marika P., now Legal Intern at Liu Jo
Marika P., student of the Executive Master in Gestione della Moda e del Lusso, explains her motivation to start the Master, and all that she obtained in terms of competences, networking and also career opportunity.
My name is Marika and I am 26 years old and about a year ago I graduated with a Master’s degree in Law. I had unclear ideas about what I wanted to do in the future. My great passion, apart from law, has always been fashion but I have never had the chance to study further in this direction. After graduating I had confused ideas and did not know what to do with my future, so I decided to find out about some courses or Masters that could reconcile these two great passions of mine. And so I discovered the Master in Fashion and Luxury Management at the Rome Business School and decided to enrol.
Initially I was a bit hesitant, I wondered if this choice was worth it and if it would really meet my expectations, allowing me to find a job that I really liked. Although I had not yet completed my Master, I managed to find a job opportunity as a Legal Intern in Liu Jo, a top player in the fashion industry; a position that I had been longing for and that, thanks to this Master’s degree, I was able to achieve.
Rome Business School presents a managerial education, a practical approach to careers and an international environment that allows you to meet people from all over the world. This has helped me to have continuous creative comparisons with my colleagues and to strengthen my managerial skills.
All the professors are knowledgeable, friendly, engaging and above all they are professionals in their field. In particular, I would like to mention Professor Bonafoni, whose lectures stimulated me and aroused more and more interest in this world.
This Master has helped me to grow both professionally and personally. It has allowed me to meet new people and create a friendship with them, which also goes beyond the school context. For all these reasons, I feel very satisfied with my choice and with this wonderful experience I am having and I recommend all those who want to grow, to continuously compare themselves and to put themselves on the line, with a view to new goals, to enrol in the Master!
