Our most awaited part of the event was certainly the keynote speech from Umberto Galimberti, philosopher, psychoanalyst and highly regarded academic.
“Our intention for having with us Prof. Galimberti is linked to our core value of maintaining a humanistic touch in our students’ learning path”, said Dean Antonio Ragusa.
During his speech Galimberti spoke about the role of technology, ethics and education, among many other interesting topics: “Education is now more than ever crucial, because it teaches to distinguish between good and evil, which in our age in no longer an innate knowledge.” Then he added “Business Schools have the distinct benefit of being able to continuously improve, to select their faculty based on meritocracy” which is one of the key areas the CAB members help Rome Business School with: for instance 3 of the CAB Members have also become Program Directors. Regarding job opportunities, it was highlighted at the event that as many as 16 CAB member companies have exclusively shared job offers and placement opportunities with RBS students in 2021. Among them: Soho House, NTT Data, Jaguard Land Rover, IKEA, EY, Save the Children Italia, Oracle, HAYS. Rome Business School is happy to offer its students opportunities for growthing together with top companies and multinational corporations, and to work to strengthen every day the collaboration with the corporate and managerial world. For Antonio Ragusa, Dean of the Rome Business School, “the quality of RBS programs is consolidated in a working atmosphere in constant dialogue with the professional world where participants share experiences and learn not only from their classmates but also from the close and constant relationship they have with executives from the world’s most important companies.”
The CAB has always been committed to advising and accompanying RBS in the development of managers and entrepreneurs capable of facing and being promoters of change, based on the principles of sustainability and ethics, who know how to be inclusive and innovative. In 2021, the collaboration between RBS and CAB helped launch four new Master’s degrees for 2022: Specialized Master in Digital Marketing and Business Transformation, Specialized Master in International Law and Compliance, Professional Master in Artificial Intelligence, Specialized Master in Sustainability and Circular Bio Economy.
Thanks to Prof. Galimberti and to all the CAB members, Antonio Ragusa, María Ángeles Martos Molina, as well as all the RBS staff who helped bring this event to life and made it a special occasion for personal enrichment for all the participants.
