The latest Company Visit was an unforgettable and extremely captivating educational experience for Rome Business School’s students.
Our Agribusiness, Food and Beverage and Tourism Management students had the chance to visit Mondicaffè, a small-scale company that produces blends prepared with artisanal care and attention founded in Rome in 1959, where they were shown all of the phases of coffee roasting. The company is a landmark in the sector for its continuous pursuit of a high standard of quality and its respect for the Italian tradition of coffee production, and it’s always willing to open its doors for educational purposes.
From the basics of botanic to the methods of extraction, roasting techniques, and coffee tasting, our students experienced an in-depth journey in this particular and appreciated industry, an educational visit which enriched their knowledge of the food & beverage industry beyond the theory, putting them face to face with fieldwork and the handling of the raw material through all of its steps.
